As part of the celebration of the Tourism Week, students of Uzhgorod economic and trade college majoring in "hotel services" visited three tourist facilities: "Thermal Star", "Derenivska kupil" and "Zolota pidkova".
The sanatorium complex "Thermal Star" is located in the village of Nyzhnye Solotvyno on the area of 14 hectares. The students were shown the administration, the restaurant, "Standard" and "Lux" rooms. They organized a tour for the young people where they could see the equipment of this spa complex. Musculoskeletal system, peripheral nervous system, skin diseases, functional disorders of the cardiovascular, digestive, urogenital systems, and chronic fatigue syndrome are treated in this facility. Sources of unique silica water are located there.
The sanatorium complex "Derenivska kupil" is located in the village of Nyzhnye Solotvyno, has more than 400-year history. The manager of the institution told the students about its history, present and future plans. Students learned that four centuries ago in the village Derenivka (hence the name of the institution) a special healing water was born and made this place famous throughout Europe. Aristocrats, artists and merchants would come to Derenivka to visit baths and drink water that restores health, youth and strength. There are over ten exquisite works of art by the most famous sculptors of the time in the institution. The staff makes much effort for landscaping of the area. Students were shown the playground, the sauna, the restaurant "Salamandra". A graduate of our college Spaschuk Vasyl works in this restaurant.
The tourist center "Zolota Pidkova" is located in the village of Andriyivka. The guests can stay in one of the ten cozy wooden houses. There is a restaurant, a playground, a lake, a pool there. Also, the tourist center is famous for buffaloes and horses.
