Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that the government of Ukraine must follow the example of the eighth President of South Africa Nelson Mandela and choose dialogue with the people instead of force.
She wrote that in her Twitter.
As you know, on the night of 10 to 11 of December, security forces were trying to drive the protesters, who for 21 consecutive days have been protesting against the policy of Ukrainian authorities, from Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv – the Ukrainska Pravda reported.
But activists managed to defend their right to peaceful assembly.
