Heavy rain, wind, hail and rising water levels in the rivers is expected in Transcarpathia

Warning about natural and dangerous meteorological phenomena, sudden weather changes.

Storm warning has been announced by the Transcarpathian Regional Center for Hydrometeorology.

It is reported that during the day on June 3, heavy rain, storms are expected in Transcarpathian region and in the city of Uzhgorod. Occasionally, hail and a squally wind of 17-22 m / s.

On June 2-3, on the rivers of the region, there will be slight increase of water levels by 0.2-0.8 m within the original shores. In places of heavy rains, a significant local runoff will be formed, in small streams there may be rapid rise of water levels by 0.5-1.5 m, formation of small mudflows carrying mud and debris on the roads.
