Government intends to increase excise on cognac by 70%

On September 1, the excise rate may increase by 70% – to 45.87 UAH / liter of 100% spirit.
The corresponding bill has been registered in the parliament. Under the current law, until January 1, 2013 Ukraine has a reduced rate on cognac – 27 hryvnia per liter of 100% spirit.
