Yesterday in the match of the postponed 20th round of the championship of Ukraine, Uzhgorod "Goverla" conceded at home to Dnipropetrovsk "Dnipro" – 0:2. Here are post-match comments of head coaches from the official website of Uzhgorod team.
Vyacheslav Grozny, the head coach of "Goverla": "It’s hard to say anything when one hundred percent goals are disallowed. That is why I have repeatedly said that we should invite foreign referees to judge our matches.
In the first half we played flawlessly – blocked most dangerous players of "Dnipro" – Konoplyanka, Giuliano, Zozulya, Matheus. Despite the disallowed goal we could have scored more, but Feshchuk could not beat Boyko. The goal was for us like a bolt from the blue. Our goal-keeper was disoriented by the player, who was in front of him. This goal was quite illogical and it just knocked the ground from under our players’ feet.
I would like to have a re-match. Even though we achieved our task, but we play for the honor. Once again, the referee’s error affected the result of the match."
Juande Ramos, the head coach of "Dnipro": "We were eager to win from the first minutes of the match. It was difficult until the first goal – our player was sent off, but after the goal things got better. It is deserved victory for us."
