Four illegal immigrants, who were trying to enter the EU, were detained by border guards of the Chop detachment, the press service of the detachment reported.
Officers of the unit "Uzhgorod" knew about the group of Arabian looking men, who had appeared in the border area, in advance, and when the unknown men started moving towards the Ukrainian-Slovak border, the border guards detained them.
Three offenders reported that they were from Syria, another one – from Kuwait, but they had no IDs to confirm their statements. The "travelers" said that they were going to Slovakia and from there they planned to go to Austria, where their relatives and friends live. Also the men admitted that they had planned their route through Ukrainian-Slovakian border with the help of the internet service Google maps.
