The symbols used on the coat of arms of Transcarpathia were approved 100 years ago
These are: the coat of arms – with blue-yellow stripes and a bear and the blue and yellow flag.
They were approved by the Czechoslovak Parliament on February 29, 1920. At that time, the territory of modern Transcarpathia was part of this country.
This event was celebrated at the branch of Transcarpathian Directorate of the “Ukrposhta” with the cancellation of an envelope and a stamp with symbols of Transcarpathia.
