Gongs and Tibetan singing bowls will be played in Uzhgorod (Announcement)

From 21 to 24 of May, the "Gong-fest" will take place in the regional center

On the first day, Uzhgorod residents and visitors will be charmed by known Lithuanian gong master Virenius Andriyauskas. He will play for all comers on Teatralna Square. In general, according to the organizers, his virtuoso play the main hit of the program. The master of improvisations will present unique musical instruments that will be played on during the festival.

If you want to receive a unique experience and plunge into the wonderful musical world of Tibetan singing bowls, kalimba, drum, jew’s harp and other ethnic instruments, to relax in body and soul can, you should visit the event. According to one of the organizer Victoria Nagy, it does not require special training. "A person, who wants to visit our closed sessions, should only bring a mat and a blanket. We guarantee relaxation, good mood and a lot of new emotions", – Victoria said.  

The program of the festival:

May 21 (Thursday), 19:00 – gong playing on Teatralna square.

May 22 (Friday), 19:30-21:00 – relaxation to the soft sounds of singing bowls. Location – the hall in the House of Culture on Ruska street, 3. It is recommended to bring a mat and a blanket. Admission price is 70 UAH (60 UAH of pre-sale).

May 23 (Saturday), 12:00 – Festival and Fair on Fentsik Square (near the Philharmonic). Here you will find a master class in playing on ethnic instruments, sales of instruments. Also, a fair of products from India and Nepal: clothing, jewelry, spices, sweets, etc.
