Glory to Heroes! Soldiers were honored in Uzhgorod (PHOTO-REPORT)

The formations based in Uzhgorod that recently returned from the front of the Russian-Ukrainian war were honored in the military unit on Drugety Street.

At the festivities, the soldiers were greeted by relatives, colleagues, volunteers, public, as well as representatives of power of various levels. The event was attended by the commander of the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade, Hero of Ukraine Serhiy Sobko. He thanked everyone for their service, as well as those, who were waiting for them at home. He read out the names of all those, who were killed, they were honored with a minute of silence and a salute… The commander of the operational command "West" Major General Oleksandr Pavlyuk called our Transcarpathian "Iron" 128th Brigade one of the leading and most capable military formations of the modern Ukrainian Armed Forces and noted not only professionalism but also the devotion of its personnel to the state, defense of the Motherland. Today, various units of the 128th brigade are honored not only in Uzhgorod, but also in Mukachevo and Vynogradiv. In Uzhgorod, in particular, they greeted the 15th, 2nd and the tank battalions, the medical company, scouts and representatives of other units of the Transcarpathian Legion.
