The International Festival of Cultures ‘Global Village’ will be held for the fifth time today, July 13, at 5 p.m. in the night club ‘Phantom’. Uzhgorod citizens will be able to chat with guests from Hong Kong, India, Czech Republic, Turkey, Poland, Germany, Egypt, Indonesia and Serbia and see on their own what kind of traditions are abroad.
The organizers of the event – is an international youth organization ‘AYSEK in Uzhgorod’ – told: German energetic salsa, traditional dishes and clothes will be at the festival. Volunteers will play on special Chinese musical instruments and will organize a real Chinese wedding. Everyone willing will be able to get pictures made of henna, learn how to write their name by hieroglyphs and prepare tasty Czech cookies.
