Gas from Slovakia is less than 385 dollars – Kobolyev

The price of gas that Ukraine buys from Europe by reverse supply from Slovakia is less than 385 dollars per thousand cubic meters.

This was announced by the chairman of the board of "Naftogaz Ukraine" Andriy Kobolyev to journalists in Kyiv on Wednesday, the "Interfax-Ukraine" reported.

"Regarding Slovakia: the pipeline has been launched, its yearly capacity is about 10 billion cubic meters. If it is used in full, it will cover about 40% of the necessary import. We do not comment on the price, but it is less than 385 dollars per thousand cubic meters. I will not tell you the exact figure because it is a trade secret," – he said.

Kobolyev announced that next week, there will be a 3-way gas meeting in the format of EU-Ukraine-Russia.
