Full tank of cigarettes was found by Mukachevo border guards

Yesterday, at "Dyakovo" checkpoint, border guards discovered the "inventor" who was trying to leave to Romania with a full tank of cigarettes.

A noticeable nervouseness of a man driving a passenger "Folks Wagen", his vague answers about the presence of prohibited for transferring across the border objects couldn’t but attract the attention of the border guard, who decided to conduct an in-depth examination of the vehicle.

During the general examination, with the help of technical means of border control, the border guards discovered 240 packs of cigarettes of a foreign «Jin Ling» production and 99 packs of cigarettes of a domestic production «VICEROY» in the petrol tank. Access to the tobacco products became possible only after removing the fuel level sensor.

Discovered during the inspection cigarettes, as well as the car, as a means of transportation of contraband, were seized. The cigarettes were worth 1992 hryvnia. The vehicle was estimated at 7000 hryvnia – the press service of Mukachevo border detachment informs.
