Frozen waterfalls in Slovakia are visited by hundreds of tourists (PHOTOS)

Gundreds of tourists come to the Slovak village of Matejovce nad Hornádom to see the frozen waterfalls, which are called icefalls. The site is located 60 km from the town of Prešov, which is about 100 km from Transcarpathia, the Mukachevo.net writes.

Frozen water of the Hornád river creates an incredible sight – a solid wall of ice about 14 meters high and 30 meters long.

Even in the coldest season, water leaks from the rock and the wall is constatntly growing. Many tourists consider it one of the most beautiful icefalls in Slovakia.
