“From Waltz to Salsa!” Regional Philharmonic invites!

May is traditionally filled with many memorable dates and holiday events. And after Easter, a real festival boom started in our region. 

Already on May 11, at 18.30, the Symphony Orchestra of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic invites all fans to the program "From Waltz to Salsa." At one concert, you will hear dance music of different eras, different kinds, styles and trends. This beautiful art exists in cultural traditions of all peoples, reflecting the mentality, national characteristics and creative potential of every nation.  

Dancing has always not only comfort and entertainment of people, but also helped them to communicate and become intimate: on village squares, at balls and parties, in saloons, clubs, at dancings and discos, young people meet and get acquainted, and friends and colleagues celebrate holidays and just have fun.

This concert program is also designed for a pleasant leisure. Waltz and polka, paso doble and tango, salsa, rumba, mambo, flamenco – you will be captured by a whirlpool of light and playful, as well as passionate and fiery dance rhythms. The director of the orchestra is Victoria Tsanko. The concert will be hosted by musicologist Natalia Pitsur. Give yourself a holiday and good mood!
