October 1, 2012, the decision of the Government of the Republic of Croatia on a temporary visa-free regime for the citizens of Ukraine expired. This has been reported by the Government Portal.
Thus, starting from November 1, 2012 the citizens of Ukraine who are planning to visit Croatia, must arrange in advance for the appropriate visa at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Ukraine.
However, according to the decision of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, in the period up to December 31, 2012, foreign nationals, including citizens of Ukraine legally residing in the territory of the Member States, having a valid Schengen multiple short-term visa or a valid long-term visa, shall be exempt from the requirement to additionally execute Croatian national visa.
The above documents must be valid at the time of the applicant’s exit out of the Republic of Croatia.
