Four Uzbek citizens were detained near the border with Slovakia (PHOTOS)

Last night, border guards of the Chop detachment’s operative search department, together with patrol police officers, detained a group of foreigners who apparently intended to enter Slovakia outside the checkpoints. The offenders were found on the approaches to the border.  
During the verification of operational information, border guards together with the police stopped a car Opel with Ukrainian registration on the outskirts of the village of Onokivtsi, Uzhgorod district. There were four foreigners and two citizens of Ukraine in the car. Three of the foreigners did not have any documents with them. All said they were citizens of Uzbekistan. 
In order to compile the materials of the case on the administrative offense, the detainees were taken to the special room "Onokivtsi". 
Also a report on the signs of the criminal offense provided by Art. 332 of the Criminal Code "Illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine" was sent to investigative department of National Police of Transcarpathian region.
