Four Transcarpathians are suspected of kidnapping a 29-year-old resident of Uzhgorod – officially

Today, Uzhgorod was stirred by a detective story with kidnapping, chase, blocking of cars and arrest of men in a black Mercedes.

While unofficial versions are circulating online, the police have finally begun to release the first information.

They report: the investigative team of the Uzhgorod Police Department is working at the scene, where a group of men in a "Mercedes" was caught. Three men from Mukachevo and one from Uzhgorod are suspected of kidnapping a 29-year-old resident of Uzhgorod.

Officers of the Uzhgorod Police Department inform: at 11.00, a person called the police and reported that a group of men had pushed a local resident into a car and took him in an unknown direction. The police promptly responded and intercepted the car described by the applicant. The investigative team is currently working with all the persons involved in and witnesses of the event and establishing all the circumstances and causes of the incident, – the communication department of the Transcarpathian regional police informed.
