Four “tourists” from Afghanistan were detained few hundred meters to the border with Slovakia

On March 31, border guards of the Chop detachment detained another migrants who were going to Slovakia illegally. This time, the illegal migrants were detained by officers of the department "Velyky Berezny". 

Representatives of the unit that guards the border in the eponymous district of Transcarpathia detected the offenders near the border while patrolling. As a result of the measures taken, at the distance of about one kilometer to the Ukrainian-Slovak border, the task force detained four unknown men who identified themselves as citizens of Afghanistan. As usually, they had no documents to confirm their nationality and purpose of stay in the border area. 

The offenders were taken to the station for identification, establishment of the circumstances of the offense and drafting administrative and procedural documents. Their further fate and responsibility under the law will be determined by the court.
