The offenders were detained by border guards of the Chop detachment near the village of Huta in Uzhgorod district. Four persons were detained on the grounds of an offense in order to identify them and determine the circumstances of the offense. The border guards of the department "Uzhgorod" found the illegal immigrants thanks to the information provided by the operational units of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service. The "travelers" were stopped 1200 meters from the border with Slovakia. The offenders, 3 men and 1 woman, were not carrying any documents and said that they were citizens of India. In addition, yesterday, border guards of the same department detained near Uzhgorod two Turkish citizens. The foreigners, who had passports, also planned to get to Slovakia bypassing the checkpoints.
