One of the most popular festivals in Transcarpathia – "Hamora-2015" – started in Irshava district. The festival was opened by the village head Yaroslav Palyok and the Head of the Department of Culture and Tourism Anna Matiko, they started with a minute of silence for those who died in the East.
As you know, Hamora is a blacksmith art festival. But usually its program consists of a lot of interesting events. In addition, the program includes numerous performances by folk groups. The organizers have planned the ascent on the Kuk mountain (depending on weather) and the event "Blacksmith bonfire" during which tourists will get acquainted with local folk traditions. The festival is attended by not only blacksmiths from the region but also by guests from Kyiv, the publication of Irshava district informs.
