The media informed about an innovation on the border with Slovakia: border guards with the help of concrete blocks made sure that drivers would actually cross the border.
According to the portal "Novyny Zakarpattya", border guards set concrete barrier to make owners of transit cars with foreign license plates go to Slovakia. More than half of owners of cars in transit in Uzhgorod have no visas, that is, such "improvement" for them is not a pleasant experience. And even for those who have a visa, border crossing will take 2-3 times longer. It is necessary to find out whether border service have the right to put any objects on neutral territory – journalist Pavlo Biletsky said on his page.
As journalist Oleksandr Korobko informed, drivers are going to gather a "rally" at the crossing point regarding those concrete barriers, they are expecting about 200-300 cars.
