October 3, in Uzhgorod, the NGO "Center for Civic Initiatives" will hold a round table on "Voting rights of IDPs. How to realize them?", as part of the nationwide campaign "Every vote is important".
The event will take place at 11:00, at the address: Uzhgorod, Koshitska st., 6 (conference hall of the hotel "Duet Plus")
The main goal of the roundtable is to discuss the problems associated with the realization of voting rights by IDPs from the ATO area and temporarily occupied Crimea; and to provide recommendations to these categories of voters to enable them to exercise their right to vote.
However, the issue of temporal change of voting address concerns not only IDPs, but also people who are on a business trip and students who are not going to be at the place of official registration on the election day.
The participants of the event – local government and executive authorities officials, representatives of the media, public and volunteer organizations, candidates for deputies of Ukraine, active representatives of internally displaced persons – will have the opportunity to receive all the answers concerning the rights and opportunities of their realization.
