March 19 at 15:00, the presentation of the book of the writer, musician, frontman of the famous Ukrainian band "Fiolet" Serhiy Martynyuk will take place in the main library of Transcarpathia (Svoboda ave., 16).
Serhiy Martynyuk’s debut novel is an unusual, fascinating book. The narrator, who does not speak a single word in the novel, sets off to travel across Ukraine with his only friend, who has a strange nickname of unknown origin – Pi. On their way, the protagonists will encounter roadside prostitutes, insidious tramps, bitter artists, newly emerging and forgotten rock’n’roll stars, materialized ghosts of the past, and mystical glimpses of the future. The mysterious goal will lead the protagonists through the strange labyrinths of their own hopes, fears and illusions, and they will comprehend the true meaning of this journey only at the end of the road, which is itself like a life lived anew.
The presentation will be held in Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library. Admission is free!
