Football Academy in Transcarpathia

Yesterday, August 18, a pleasant event took place at the FC Minaj Stadium – the opening of the Football Academy. Uzhgorod District Council Chairman Ruslan Chornak, FC Minaj President Valery Peresolyak, alumnus of the Transcarpathian School of Football, U-20 World Champion Serhiy Buletsa and the coach of the U-20 national team Oleksander Petrakov inaugurated the Academy.

The event was also attended by the Vice President of the Ukrainian Football Association Vadim Kostyuchenko, the administrator of the Executive Staff of the District Council Yuri Frintsko, the Chairman of the Football Federation of Uzhgorod Region, deputy of the District Council Ivan Kovach and other distinguished guests.

The Football Academy was established with the assistance and at the initiative of the District Council Chairman Ruslan Chornak.

 We must do everything to create the necessary conditioms and facilities for our children to play this sport! – Ruslan Chornak said.

According to the press service of the Uzhgorod District Council, at the holiday, Vadim Kostyuchenko, on behalf of the chairman of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Pavelko, presented medals "For Merits" to Ruslan Chornak, Ivan Kovach and Yuri Frintsko.
