Fom now on, Transcarpathians can go shopping to Hungary on Sundays too

The information that the Hungarian Government initiated the abolition of the law that prohibits stores in Hungary to work on Sundays pleased both the residents of the neighboring country and Transcarpathians who occasionally "raid" its supermarkets. As you know, this law has been in force in the country for just over a year, and its passage caused wide publicity and protests in Hungary, the source myhungary.net informs. Both sellers and buyers were unhappy with the ban on working on Sundays. The former feared decline in revenues and layoffs, while the latter were unhappy that they cannot go shopping when they want.

Erzsébet Berta, a resident of Nyíregyháza, every time coming to Uzhgorod, was pleasantly surprised that our shops are open seven days a week. And complained that in her own city she had to buy up food for the weekend on Friday, but is it possible to foresee everything?

It is expected that this week the Parliament will approve the abolition of the controversial law, the Euronews reports. And the next Sunday, shopping malls and large stores will be open.
