Flood wave from Transcarpathia is already in Hungary

On the rivers of Transcarpathia, a steady decline in water levels is observed – to – 0.5-1.0 m on the Tisa, and in the upper and middle reaches of the Uzh, the Latorica and the Borzhava.

On the Tisa the flood wave moved to the Hungarian side, in the town of Vilok the level of flood waters has dropped to -75 cm, the water is at the normal level.

The formation of the maximum flood level also occured in low-lying part of the Borzhava in the village of Velyki Remety. At 16:00, on April 2, water levels began to drop after having reached 588 cm mark at the zero of gauge.
