Fifty Easter egg trees will decorate Narodna Square on the eve of Palm Sunday

 On Saturday, April 23, the regional festival-contest "Arise, Easter egg!" will be held on Narodna Square in Uzhgorod.

 
        Easter eggs made in different techniques will be presented on fifty "Easter egg" trees that will be placed along the perimeter of the square. In addition, everyone will be able to make an Easter egg in the technique of their choice. More than fifty artists from all over the region will share their experiences of Easter egg making during the workshops.

        The organizers cordially invite all to participate in the festival, enjoy the beauty and uniqueness of each creation to be presented at the festival competition, and plunge into the world of beauty and wealth of folk traditions while making Easter eggs.

The opening of the regional festival-contest and the award ceremony will take place on Saturday at 11.00.

        Easter eggs will be exhibited on Narodna Square in Uzhgorod until May 7.
