Summer is gaining momentum, and more and more people are thinking about vacation. And the best vacation is, of course, in Transcarpathia.
Every year, in the summer season, Transcarpathia offers many interesting events: festivals, themed parades, and even regattas. To visit Transcarpathia in the summer and not to attend at least one of the numerous festivals is unacceptable.
Despite the fact that the summer has just begun, two well-known festivals have already taken place in Transcarpathia. Thus, on June 8-9, the traditional festival of riplyanka took place in the famous "museum" village of Kolochava, and on June 9, the traditional festival "Trembitas Call to the Synevyr" was held on the Synevyr pass.
Soon, Mukachevo castle will invite to the historic reenactment of the wedding of Ilona Zrinyi and Imre Thokoly. This year marks the 337th anniversary of the event. The holiday will last for two days: June 15 – wedding ceremony, gun fire, knights battles, medieval dances and music, medieval cuisine, artisan town, etc. And on June 16 – the reenactment of an assault on the Palanok castle.
On June 28, Uzhgorod will host the 10th jubilee Transcarpathian Parade of Brides. Adult girls, unmarried and married women are invited to participate. Participants will be divided into groups by style and subject matter, each of which will have its own day program.
