Fencer Anatoliy Herey will receive an apartment in Uzhgorod at the expense of the regional budget

Back at the 8th session, the deputies of the Transcarpathian Regional Council adopted the decision on the purchase of an apartment for a participant of the XXIII Olympic Games Anatoliy Herey. And now, on November 30, during the 9th session, they will approve the decision "On the transfer of an apartment to the participant of the XXIII Olympic Games A. Herey". 

The practical implementation of the draft decision creates organizational and legal preconditions for the implementation of the task defined by the Program for the development of physical culture and sports in Transcarpathian region for the period until 2020 aimed at social support of the best athletes in Transcarpathian region. Thus, according to the Program, in 2017, UAH 800.0 thousand is provided for the implementation of the above-mentioned task. This amount is sufficient for its implementation, including the costs associated with the execution of the necessary procedures, and does not require additional expenses.

The project is aimed at social support of the best athletes in Transcarpathia and is considered as a stimulating example that will increase the motivation of athletes in Transcarpathia to achieve high sports results.

The Department of Youth and Sports of the RSA will be delegated the authority to carry out the necessary organizational and legal activities related to the free transfer of the property, including by concluding the respective agreements. 

Control over the implementation of these decision is entrusted to the deputy head – the chief of staff of the Regional State Administration and the standing commissions of the Regional Council: for education, science, culture, spirituality, youth policy, physical culture and sport, national minorities and information policy; for law and order, property and privatization, regulations.
