FC “Minaj” interrupted its 6-match winning streak in the 12th round

FC "Minaj" in the 12th round interrupted its 6-match winning streak and lost to "Hirnyk-Sport" from Horishni Plavni with a score of 1:0. Our team missed a goal early in the game – on the 9th minute Oleg Dmitrenko sent the ball into his own goal. Unfortunately, the Transcarpathians failed to equalize and we suffered the third defeat in the First League. 
And we lost during a pouring cold autumn rain. It was raining for almost the entire match, and because of this, the green lawn of "Yunist" became almost a swamp by the end of the game. In such conditions, it was extremely difficult for "Minaj" to play. Meanwhile "Hirnyk-Sport" quickly adapted to these conditions. Their active manner of playing brought fruit already on the 9th minute, when the ball went into our goal after bouncing off the feet of our player Oleg Dmitrenko. This goal turned out to be decisive in the match. So this defeat became the 3rd for the Transcarpathian this season and the first in the last 10 matches in the championship. FC "Minaj" will play their next match on Saturday, October 12 at their home stadium. The rival will be "Rukh" from Lviv. Source.
