The famous choir with heavenly voices and impeccable repertoire has been delighting us and the whole world for a quarter century now!
The concert of the academic chamber choir "Cantus" on the occasion of the 25th anniversary took place last night in the atrium of the Transcarpathian Regional Council building.
Lovers of musical art were able to enjoy the best choral compositions from the choir repertoire. Together with with the instrumental ensemble "A Cappella Leopolis" from Lviv, the choir performed the fragments of Bach’s "Christmas Oratorio". According to the artistic director and conductor of the choir "Cantus" Emil Sokach, this is one of the best works of the famous composer, and the preparation of this part of the concert was especially important for the whole collective.
The packed auditorium proved that in Uzhgorod there are many lovers of spiritual music and fans of the academic chamber choir "Cantus".
