Fallen trees and rivers instead of roads: the aftermath of the bad weather in Uzhgorod

 In particular, as reported by the Department of Municipal Economy of the Uzhgorod City Council, stormwater drains were cleaned on Mykhailo Hrushevsky, Sobranetska, Pidhradska, Antonivska, Budyteli, Maria Zankovetska and others streets. The drainage system at the intersection of Ivan Ankudinov and Antonivska streets was flushed.

A dangerous tree was cut on Yuri Gagarin street; on the same street, as well as on Nezalezhnist embankment and on Ivan Silvay street, broken branches were cut and removed, the Uzhgorod city website informs. 

Many streets, especially near the ascents, had to be cleared of silt.
