On February 24, a master class on the oldest and most mysterious Ukrainian craft – pottery – took place in the Museum of Folk Architecture and Life.
The master Yulia Egorova-Rogova taught students of the 5-B form of Uzhgorod specialized school №3 the basics of pottery. Under the guidance of the master, children were transforming lumps of soft clay into jugs, cups or ornaments. The results of children’s creative work will be baked in a special furnace in Mrs. Yulia’a workshop, so students will soon be able to bring their ceramic products home or give them to someone.
The organizers of the event say that this workshop is just the beginning, and soon everyone will be able to learn pottery in the old village!
