On November 27, a repaired lecture room and a linguaphone room were solemnly opened at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of UzhNU. The long-awaited event was made possible thanks to the support of the administration, which allocated funds for the repair of the premises and the purchase of computer equipment.
Honorary guests – pro-rectors of UzhNU on scientific and pedagogical work Igor Korol and Myroslava Lendiel – attended the event.
The dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Mykhailo Roshko and the vice-rector Igor Korol solemnly cut the red ribbon.
The first stop of the festive tour was the new multimedia room, where students of the faculty led by assistant professor of the department of French language and foreign literature, Anzhelika Kikalo, were "testing" the new equipment.
Then, they went to the repaired lecture room 533, where the guests of the holiday and the head of the faculty congratulated the students.
Mykhailo Mykhailovich also congratulated students and colleagues on this event and thanked the management for the financial support of the faculty’s initiative: "The Faculty of Foreign Languages contributes to the successful functioning of the University, and we are extremely grateful that its management notice and appreciate it!"
Myroslava Lendiel also congratulated all students and teachers of the faculty on a small victory and expressed gratitude for the faculty’s persistence and initiative.
In conclusion, the guests from the administration promised the attendees that those were not the last updates at the faculty – there will certainly be more pleasant changes in the studying and work conditions.
