Yesterday, December 19, Mikolajczyks and Angelslit Uzhgorod. Each year, on the St. Nicholas Day, hundreds of his helpers – children and sometimes adults in white and red caps – come out on the streets of the city. They greet all passerbys on this and future holidays and treat them with candy.
This year, the holiday characters in red and white caps were not alone, but with reinforcement. Mikolajczyks were joined by Angels as a symbol of light and goodness. Together they organized a flash mob, dancing under the Christmas tree and solemnly lighting its lights.
