Explosives, weapons and ammunition were confiscated in Transcarpathia

In Uzhgorod, officers of the Security Service of Ukraine and the police confiscated from two local residents a Czech submachine gun SA26 with 40 cartridges to it, a hand grenade RGD-5 and 16 cartridges to the gun "PM", the press group of the Security Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region informs.

Also, one of the detainees informed the police about a hiding place where he was keeping explosives. Near the village of Onokivtsi in Uzhgorod district, the Security Service of Ukraine officers seized from the cache 1,2 kg of TNT, 20 fuses for landmines and small arms ammunition of different caliber.

Urgent operational-investigative measures are being taken.
