The personal exhibition of paintings by Raisa Gluck, the wife of the famous Transcarpathian artist Gavrilo Gluck, opened Yesterday, March 6.
Ildika Molnar, the deputy director of the Department of Culture of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, presenting the exhibition, emphasized that this exhibition is a part of an art project that has been going on for half a year. Art works by Raisa Gluck have already been exhibited in Khust, Tyachiv and Vynogradiv. It was decided to conclude it in Uzhgorod, in the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life, timing the exhibition to the International Women’s Day.
The founder of the Gavrilo Gluck Charitable Foundation, Yosyp Homoki and a member of the Glucks family told stories from Raisa Pylypivna’s life, how she started her creative career and that she preferred still life among all the genres of painting. The first person who encouraged her to work was her husband – Gavrilo Gluck. He was also her mentor.
The exhibition will last until March 25, 2018.
