Europe will help save the Narcissus Valley

German development bank KfW will give the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine a grant of 14 million euros. The relevant agreement was signed between the head of the Ukrainian Ministry Igor Shevchenko, the Director of the KfW Office in Ukraine Gunnar Weltzholtz and the Ambassador of Germany to Ukraine Christoph Weil yesterday, Friday, April 10, the prozak writes with reference to the news agency "Interfax-Ukraine".

The funds will be used to support protected areas, including 10 Ukrainian reserves. The first money will be received by reserves in Western Ukraine, "Horhana" and the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve. "Protecting the amazing natural diversity of Ukraine is in the interest of Europe" – Weil said during the ceremony.
