In October, several respectable delegations from European countries come to Transcarpathia. The organisation of the meetings was the main theme of the workshop led by the first deputy chairman of the regional council Mykhailo Popovych, held on October 2, the press service of the regional council informed.
Thus, in mid-October Transcarpathia will welcome the delegation from Kaunas district government of Lithuania, Vysocina and Pardubice regions of the Czech Republic.
The meeting was attended by several heads of districts and cities, educational institutions and NGOs collaborating with the Czech partners, employees of the executive office of the regional council.
Mykhailo Popovich outlined the purpose of the visits. In particular, it is planned to sign with Lithuanian guests a cooperation agreements. During this visit of the Pardubice region, it is planned to sign the memorandum on deepening the cooperation between Transcarpathian Regionalt Council and Pardubice region in investment, economic, social, educational and cultural spheres. In particular, the parties plan to support the implementation of 4 investment projects at educational institutions in Uzhgorod and Perechyn districts.
The delegation of Vysocina region led by the hetman Jiří Byehounek is invited to officially inaugurate completed joint projects on 15-16 of October. Nearly 5 million or one third of the cost for their implementation is provided by Vysocine through the charitable foundation "Viza". Also, more than 5 million was allocated from the regional budget. Some of them have already been completed, and some are in the process of completion.
