Etella Chupryk will continue to please listeners with the works of Lysenko and Chopin

They lived and worked in different times and in different conditions, but both had the highest goal to serve their peoples. It is not for nothing that Mykola Lysenko is called the Hetman of Ukrainian music, and Frederic Chopin is called the national hero of Poland. The soloist of Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic, People’s Artist of Ukraine Etella Chupryk decided to bring these two musical geniuses together in one program. The pianist has repeatedly impressed fans of music with her large-scale projects related to the music of Bach, Beethoven, Liszt, Mozart.

Now, Etella Chupryk (piano) invites to the third concert from this cycle: on November 8, in the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic, she will perform Fantasy F minor, Sonata No.3, several mazurkas by F. Chopin and "Song of Love", "Moment of Magic" and "Nocturne" by Lysenko. The concert will be hosted by musicologist Natalia Pitsur. The beginning is at 18.30.
