Etella Chupryk believes that the sound of the white piano in the People’s Council is perfect for chamber concerts (PHOTOS)

The building of the Transcarpathian Regional Council and the Regional State Administration – known among Uzhgorod residents as the People’s Council – from now on will be decorated with a white grand piano.  For quite a while now, the atrium of the administrative building, which is an architectural monument and was designed by Czech architect František Krupka, has been a kind of cultural center – art exhibitions and concerts are regularly held there.  It was therefore decided to spend 137,000 UAH from the regional "Program of culture and art development for 2016-2020" to purchase the restored white grand piano. The instrument was presented, as expected, with a concert – People’s Artist of Ukraine, soloist of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic Etella Chupryk not only played several music pieces, but also noted that the piano was very well restored and its sound was perfect for chamber concerts.
