Enough is enough: Avakov promises tough reaction to road blocking by owners of (VIDEO)

Avakov said that the drivers who blocked the highways had violated the law, the TSN reported.

The Interior Minister Arsen Avakov announced the decision to unblock all the roads that are being blocked by the participants of the protests, owners of the cars with foreign registration. This was reported by the press-service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The decision to unblock the roads was made since the protesters violate the rights of other citizens.

As of September 21, the police have already opened 5 criminal proceedings in Rivne, Cherkasy, ​​Chernihiv and Zhytomyr regions over blocking of transport communications under Article 279 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The police also urged drivers of uncleared cars to unblock the roads and protest within the legal framework, without violating the rights of other citizens.

According to the Director of the Communications Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Artem Shevchenko, police officers will be acting within the law.
