On the occasion of the Day of Journalists, the Consul General of Hungary in Beregovo Endre Szalipszki congratulated the Uzhgorod.in. The letter, in addition to important and comforting words, states the following:
"Hungary, as a member of the European Union, and as a neighbor of Ukraine, which aspires to EU, will continue to support your homeland in regaining of its sovereignty in its territory, in strengthening its economy, stabilization of its political situationf, and implementation of administrative reform, decentralization, reducing social tension. Hungary has consistently advocated for visa-free travel for citizens of Ukraine, and we hope that in the not too distant future the management of the European Union will adopt an appropriate decision."
