"We proudly present the embroidered map of Ukraine, the making of which started in Borshchiv district and which united the hearts of the Ukrainians from the West to the East.
There are official campaigns and there are campaigns that are conceived in the depths of the people’s soul and spread among common people from heart to heart.
The work devoted to God and Ukraine, the vaccine of "faith, trust, care" for both the Motherland and for each other. The map was embroidered within the framework of the campaign of unification "My embroidered Ukraine", which lasted exactly one year. The campaign started on June 22, 2017 in the village of Skala-Podilsky in Borshchiv district of Ternopil region. The campaign traveled through all regions of Ukraine, and on March 23, 2018 visited the Verkhovna Rada and the city of Riga at the invitation of the Society of the Support for Ukraine in Latvia.
The purpose of the campaign is to unite different communities of Ukraine for the sake of spiritual prosperity of the Motherland with love for the common genetic code of the nation – Ukrainian embroidery.
The embroidered Ukrainian map measuring three to one and a half meters is a prayer field, which is a symbol of the unification of all Ukrainians from different corners of our Motherland.
7206 participants embroidered the map all over Ukraine.
The campaign of unification "My embroidered Ukraine" became the basis for the establishment of the NGO "Guild of folk craftsmen "Perlyna", which along with regional coordinators was responsible for the implementation of the idea. The presentation of the map took place on September 9, 2018, at the 11th All-Ukrainian Folklore and Art Festival "Borshchiv Enbroidery" in the city of Borshchiv.
