Electronic system of state officials’ income declaration will be introduced in Ukraine

The Cabinet of Ministers intends to introduce an electronic system of officials’ income declaration by 2016.

This was told to journalists by the Minister of Justice Pavlo Petrenko, the "Ukrainski Novyny" reported.

"The Ukrainian government has undertaken to ensure operation of the electronic system of income declaration by the end of this year. Starting the next year, all public servants at all levels, from the Prime Minister to the head of the district administration, tax or customs office must submit their declarations in electronic form," – he said.

In addition, Petrenko expects for active public discussion of the selection to the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.

As reported, the World Bank calls on Ukraine to speed up the fight against corruption.
