“Electron” buses will be running in Uzhgorod on a new route

"Electron" buses will be running in Uzhgorod on the new route №38 "Vyacheslav Chornovil Street – Uzhgorod National University" (via Mozhaisky Street, Sandor Petofi Square, Ivan Franko Street) – today, following the tender, at an extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee, they decided to conclude a contract with the municipal enterprise "Uzhgorod Municipal Transport."  
This route will solve the issue of bus service between the part of Zahorska Street and Sandor Petofi Street, which is important for students who ride to schools 5, 9, Transcarpathian Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity "PADIYUN." There was an e-petition about that (it was supported by 256 residents) and numerous requests from parents. 
In addition, given that the route covers Mytna Street, Franko Street and connects them with UzhNU, students residing in the dormitory 1 will also be able to take advantage of the modern, comfortable public transport," – the post reads. 
This was announced by the Mayor of Uzhgorod Bohdan Andriyiv.
