Election process has started in seven district of Transcarpathia

The process for the first local elections in 86 united communities has begun. As for the Transcarpathian region, elections will take place in seven districts of the region. 
The electoral process for the first election of deputies of village, town, city councils of united territorial communities and the corresponding village, town, city mayors in 86 united territorial communities (69 village, 16 town, 1 city community) in 21 regions of Ukraine, which is scheduled for December 22, 2019, has started on November 2.      It should be noted that in Transcarpathia, the said elections will be held in the united communities, which are located in the territories of Beregovo, Velyky Berezny, Irshava, Mukachevo, Svalyava, Uzhgorod and Khust districts. In particular, Koson village, Velyky Berezny town, Zarichchya village, Kamyanske village, Horondy village, Keretsky village, Onokivtsi village, Kholmok village, Dovhe village united territorial communities, as well as Polyana village council of Svalyava district and Solochyn village council (the village of Solochyn) will take part in the elections on December 22 this year. 

According to the Central Election Commission, the subvention from the state budget to local budgets for the preparation and holding of the first elections of deputies of village, town, city councils of the united communities and the respective village, town, city mayors on December 22, 2019 is 21 million 842 thousand 2 hryvnias.
