Economically active enterprises owe to Transcarpathians over 2.4 million hryvnias

This was announced during the conference call, chaired by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, by the head of Transcarpathia Oleksandr Ledyda.

      – Over the past three months we have managed to reduce the arrears of wages by 883,000 UAH. As of the beginning of March, the overall arrears in the region exceeded nine million hryvnias.  The lion’s share – nearly 74% – is debts of bankrupt enterprises. Economically active enterprises owe to employees over 2.4 million, utilities – 646 thousand. Regarding the latter, we plan to repay these debts in full by the end of the year, – the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration said.

      Oleksandr Ledyda also noted that regional government pay special attention to the repayment of debt and work with the heads of debtor companies.
