During the holidays, Ukrainians travel to the Carpathians

Tourists are attracted to the Carpathians by low prices, the opportunity to spend time actively and to stock up on environmentally friendly gifts of nature. Tourists especially like to rest in mountain villages of Tyachiv district of Transcarpathia. In July alone, more than 300 people visited this place. Most tourists are residents of Central and Eastern Ukraine, but foreigners also come here. Vacation in Tyachiv district is quite affordable. A night in a country estate with all amenities costs 120 UAH and more. You can find a cheaper option – for 100 UAH. And a night in the hotel will cost 360 UAH and more. Those, who prefer a quiet leisure, will find something to do here. In particular, short-distance hikes to the mountain, as well as master classes on mushrooms and wild berries picking. Guests are also attracted by the opportunity to spend leisure time actively. There are many groups of extreme motorcycle, jeep and bicycle riding in the district. Rafting lovers also come here. Long-distance hiking trips from Ivano-Frankivsk region, Rakhiv and Mizhhirya districts through the mountain massifs of Svydovets, Gorgany and the mountain Chervona are also popular.

The Uzhok National Nature Park is part of the Eastern Carpathians Biosphere Reserve. It is a cross-border reserve, covering the territory of Slovakia and Poland. The state borders of Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine converge on the slopes of the Kremenets mountains. The marking of the Transcarpathian Tourist Route (Mizhhirya, Tyachiv and Rakhiv districts, between the villages of Kolochava and the town Ust-Chorna (Polonina Krasna ridge – 36 km), and the village of Ust-Chorna and the village Kvasy (Svydovets ridge – 44 km).
