During the fire in Uzhgorod hotel “Nautilus”, seven people were evacuated

The fire in Uzhgorod hotel "Nautilus" started almost at midnight, nobody was injuried, rescuers evacuated seven people, the Office of the State Emergencies Service in Transcarpathian region infroms.

The rescuers received the report of the fire in the "Nautilus" (Horyany neighbourhood in Uzhgorod) on January 8 at 23.55.

The rescuers localized the fire at 00.40, and at 02.45 completely eliminated it. Because of the strong smoke, seven people staying in the hotel were evacuated.

There were no victims. The fire destroyed the roof over an area of ​​90 square meters and the ceiling (20 square meters), and also damaged property on the 3rd floor. The cause of fire is under investigation.
